…anaplerotic CO2 fixation in PR containing Dokdonia sp. MED134 provided up to one‐third of the cell carbon in the light (Palovaara et al., 2014). Hence, it is highly likely that Pelagibacter spp. also contribute to CO2 fixation in open sea.

In summary, this study demonstrates that metagenomics aided RACE is able to establish a reliable link between the phenotype and the genotype of key functional bacteria in microbial community, addressing the fundamental questions and paving the way for comprehensive dissection of microbial community.

The link between the phenotype and the genotype of all functional bacteria in all microbial community is their nutrient-dependent pheromone-controlled physiology of reproduction. Light serves as an energy source for the weekend resurrection of the bacterial flagellum in P. fluorescens.

But evolutionists and other biologically uninformed theorists refuse to accept the fact that the creation of the sun links light-activated carbon fixation to upregulation of microRNAs via microRNA biogenesis.
Money-hungry geneticists capitalize on the theorist’s ignorance, which is frequently manifested in the writings of so-called science journalists.

We need a new definition of what heredity is…

A new definition will allow the ignorant theorists to ignore light-activated carbon fixation. They can link the emergence of energy from nothing to the evolution of all biodiversity via the new definition, since the old definitions didn’t work.
New definitions won’t work, either. The virus-driven degradation of messenger RNA must be linked to all pathology, including the transgenerational epigenetic inheritance of pathology.
See: Brain Cells Share Information With Virus-Like Capsules: The Arc gene, which is critical for animals’ ability to learn from experiences, has an incredible origin story. by Ed Yong

This article has been corrected to reflect the fact that Arc genes were co-opted by animals from a group of genes that also gave rise to retroviruses, and are not directly descended from retroviruses, as originally stated.

Did you notice how quickly he backed away from anything that might explain the origin of retroviruses?
Someone must have told Ed Yong that stress links reactivation of the retroviruses from the degradation of messenger RNA to all pathology. Anything he said about learning from experiences was altered by the fact that stress-linked viral replication alters learning and memory. The virus-driven memory loss common among neurodegenerative diseases is also commonly accompanied by olfactory deficits.
In the USA, the so-called science journalists such as Carl Zimmer and Ed Yong helped theorists change the focus from creation of the sun, microRNA biogenesis, and the diet-driven upregulation of miRNAs. They placed everything known about the virus-driven downregulation of miRNAs, which causes mutations that have been linked to all diseases in all species, back into their ridiculous  theories.
The theorists and most journalists link mutations to evolution instead of linking what organisms eat from the physiology of reproduction to ecological adaptations. The adaptations biophysically constrain viral latency. In the case the child who had her mother’s laugh, Carl Zimmer’s epic failure was to place the laugh into the context of heredity while claiming a new definition was required.
See for comparison: Virus-mediated export of chromosomal DNA in plants

…we have likely documented…the initial steps of a possible path of virus-mediated horizontal transfer of chromosomal DNA between plant species.

Could a child have her mother’s laugh outside the context of light-activated carbon fixation, plant growth, and the food the mother and child ate? Try to incorporate this into a definition of heredity.

5. Repetitive elements or endogenous viral elements can be targeted with engineered Cas+gRNA systems in microbes, plants, animals, or human cells to reduce deleterious transposition or to aid in sequencing or other analytic genomic/transcriptomic/proteomic/diagnostic tools (in which nearly identical copies can be problematic).

In the context of patents, George Church claims that light-activated carbon fixation was non-obvious.

…the cyanobacteria turn out that they fix light ah as well or better than land plants…

From the transcript:

The cyanobacteria fix [carbon via] light as well or better than land plants. Under ideal circumstances, they can be maybe seven to ten times more productive per photon.

Also:

We found the enzymes that occur in nature, which was not obvious, and both companies have patents on making those alkanes.

The light-activated creation of ATP and the creation of the enzymes that link energy to the RNA-mediated metabolism of single-celled organisms and the production of species-specific pheromones was placed into the context of this revelation about how much the patent for naturally occurring RNA interference might be worth:

Get Well in the RNAi Way-RNAi, A Billion Dollar Baby in Therapy 3/3/16

RNAi has targeted exogenous genes in models of viral infection…

Will those who think that the light-activated carbon fixation was either non-obvious, or not required for the creation of enzymes, make billions by misrepresenting what all serious scientists know about natural selection for energy-dependent codon optimality in the context of light-activated carbon fixation and biophysically constrained viral latency?
